15 May Things Wedding Guests Hate
Whenever you plan your wedding, you’ll likely imagine friends, family, and colleagues enjoying your big day. Whether the event is large or small, having your guests there makes all the difference. There are ways to ruin the moment for guest though. Avoid the following guest irritants if you would like your wedding to be memorable for everyone attending.
More Than A Mouthful Of Speeches
Hardly anyone comes to Hawaii to hear long speeches—even during a wedding. After a few minutes of talk about experiences of the past, cherishing moments, family histories, wedding vows, and like nearly anyone would be a bit restless. Being at a wedding (likely in formal attire) listening to long speeches is not on the top of anyone’s list—including family. Try to keep the orators to a few minutes tops to keep the wedding moving along.
Food Limits
Among the last things that you ever want to occur at your wedding is for guests to lack food. A lack of food would also include going top heavy on things your guest do not want to eat. Hungry guests quickly turn into irritable guests, and they will want to leave even if they won’t tell you. Make sure that your menu is diverse, and your food supply is plentiful.
Uncomfortable Furnishings & Locations
Seating that is highly uncomfortable is a wedding killer. The same is true of seating that is located in the sun, near blasting speakers, or near a lot of foot traffic. Plan your seating well to make the wedding enjoyable. Instead of only having chairs, try using a lounge area that some can use if they need.
